Filament Plugins started in 2022 with a single package built for a personal project. There are now eight – a curated collection of plugins meeting the quality bar you've come to expect from Filament Plugins.
Every plugin started the same way: a need for it in a personal project or one of our client projects. The functionality was extracted into a plugin, developed with a focus on reusability and customisability.
That starting point shapes how Filament Plugins is run. A plugin is only shipped because of a need in one of my own projects, meaning that all plugins are used and shaped by real-life production requirements and constraints. Each plugin is shipped first to a real-life project and anything that comes from that is taken into account.
It also means the catalogue stays small. Our motto for Filament Plugins is to be your boutique software agency, where you get high-quality software that is customisable to your needs and well-tested.
